SF# is a group of developers in the San Francisco Bay Area who have an interest in the F# programming language. Novices and experts are both welcome.
F# is a new functional programming language that runs on .NET (Windows) or Mono (cross-platform). It also supports imperative and object oriented programming paradigms. Its succinct syntax was most heavily influenced by OCaml, and it's especially well suited for parallel programming.
